IV and Blood Withdrawal State Certification Class for LVN's/ Refresher

27 hours of theory and 9 hours of clinical minimum. Students must attend all 36 classroom hours to obtain certificate. The BVN no longer allows home study. Class will consist of IV and Blood Withdrawal theory, comprehensive written exam on , demonstration of supplies and techniques, Practice on mannequins and then check off doing venipunctures and blood withdrawal on fellow students (a BVN requirement). 36 CEU's for LVN's Register now!

Cost is $300 (save $75 by taking combination class) A deposit of $50 with registration form is required to reserve your seat. $250 is paid at class (cash or money order except for corporate accounts). The deposit is fully refundable or transferable up to 14 days prior to class, after that deposit may only be transferred to another class minus a $25 transfer fee. Limited class size - Register now! Class may be canceled for low enrollment. NURSING STUDENTS may also take the class, although it is recommended that you take the class close to the time that can use can use the skill in a clinical setting (enter "pending" when asked for your license number on the registration form). Preregistration is required.

 

 

RN IV Techniques and Central Line Management with Blood Withdrawal
1-day classroom. Home study required prior to class. Classroom portion will consist of theory review, written exam, techniques, and demonstration of supplies with the majority of the time spent refining clinical skills. Practice peripheral venipunctures. CVC management including acessing, flushing, dressing change and blood withdrawal from PICC tunneled CVC and Port-a-cath on specialized mannequins. Check off doing 3 peripheral venipunctures on fellow students. Completion certificate awarded to RN's and RN students. Click here to Register.
